Rotherham Metropolitan District Local History Council promotes interest and awareness 
of Rotherham past and present so we may better know its needs in the future. We are 
a voluntary body that has been in existence for over 30 years and whose members 
determine its activities. 

We organise speakers for talks at regular monthly meetings throughout Autumn, 
Winter and Spring and outings to places of historical interest. The History 
Council also participate in Local History Fairs and exhibitions.
